Hanaway Theatre, Silver Center

Performing: Mozart Divertimento K.247 in F major; Rautavaara Divertimento for Strings; Bloch Concerto Grosso No. 1; Sibelius Romance Opus 42.

The Hanover Chamber Orchestra, founded in 1976, is an ensemble for some of the region’s finest musicians. This highly esteemed professional chamber orchestra draws musicians from all parts of northern New England as well as from Boston, Montreal and New York City.

The orchestra has worked with Dartmouth College, Plymouth State University, and the Manchester Choral Society in performances throughout New England and even in Carnegie Hall.

Matt SavageWhen jazz icon Dave Brubeck first heard Matt play, he pronounced him “amazing.”   Matt was 8 years old.  He recently recorded his eighth album and earned numerous awards for composition and playing before turning sixteen this summer.

American bluegrass virtuoso Sam Bush is a known as a master of the mandolin, fiddle and guitar as well as being an accomplished composer, singer and standout performer.  He’s earned Grammys for his collaborations with Harris and Fleck and for his contributions to the soundtrack of “O Brother, Where Art Thou?”
